Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a set of therapeutic education and motivation techniques developed from Behavior Analysis, the study of human behavior. ABA works to refine and develop planning, impulse control and communication skills and improve social behavior.
During ABA therapy sessions, children are prompted towards behavior modification through positive reinforcement and reward. As the child works to achieve their most desired goal, they are simultaneously developing more successful communication techniques and letting go of interfering behaviors.

Each ABA treatment plan is completely individualized. Our clinicians begin their relationship with the child and their family by getting to know the child’s interests, goals, needs and learning style. We work in partnership with the family to develop and implement a positive behavior support plan (PBSP) that covers all areas of development including communication, daily living and social skills.
Our clinicians work to develop trust with each child, establishing therapy as a safe, fun and positive space in which the child is motivated to improve behavior and practice communication skills through errorless learning techniques.
Through errorless learning, children are prompted towards specific behavior goals, and in turn earn reinforcement and reward. This enriched, supportive setting is ideal for child development: the children we work with respond enthusiastically towards ABA treatment because the sessions are designed specifically for them to enjoy.

ABA therapy is an incredibly effective treatment method for children on the autism spectrum.
ABA is a child-centered approach emphasizing positive-reinforcement and patient, non-threatening redirection. Each treatment plan is developed, implemented and closely monitored with the child’s specific needs, goals and learning behaviors in mind. Children are given the support they need to develop and refine communication skills and build healthy patterns of behavior.
This systematic, research-based approach can be extremely reassuring for parents and family members, as progress is clearly and objectively measurable. With early intervention and implementation, ABA therapy is the most effective tool we have in the fight to empower children to reach their full potential.

Absolutely. ABA is a systematic, research-based approach for behavior modification which, with proper implementation, can help over 90% of children with autism make substantial gains.
Results of ABA therapy services are measurable with the help of Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA). This tool enables a child’s clinician and family to identify and target specific skill deficits and problematic behaviors, and to regularly check in on the child’s progress.
ABA therapy is the best tool we have to empower children with autism to live to their full potential. With early intervention and regular treatment, ABA can help.
